Fuji Tatami platform beds are perfect bed for rest, made of Solid Hard Wood. Use with Tatami Straw Mat and Natural Cotton Mattress (Japanese Futon) .The tatami straw mat on top is 5.5cm thick, quite heavy, and firm. Fuji beds are a slat platform bed made of solid hardwood (Hevea brasiliensis, commonly known as Rubberwood or Parawood). The slats are 5.5cm lower than the surface of the bed, to accommodate a tatami mat. They are available in four sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. The unique cross-grain corner joints make this bed the easiest to assemble. The pieces simply slide together at the corners. There are only 3 bolts used in this bed. Assembled without screws.
